She has presence, candor, wit and a genuine sincerity that is sometimes lacking on network TV. She was an excellent reporter and anchor person in the New York metro area and has now taken her skills to The Today Show. She is the kind of person whom you root for as she is more "one of us" than "one of them". <BR/><BR/>Her interviews are better now than when she first started on air, and that is a natural progression. She is just a fun person to watch, very creative and someone that really draws you in.<BR/><BR/>I am confident that she will stay in this gig for as long as she likes. People like to wake up with someone comfortable, yet credible. There are vast sections of it that came word for word from a post I made about Jenna at reportercaps.com Quite a bit of it is mine, but you either changed it to suit your needs or someone posted it to your blog as their's. Whatever. But it is a little disingenuous.<BR/><BR/>I happen to like Jenna and only watch the Sunday Today Show and only because she's on it. I don't like Amy and I never watch the Saturday show, not even for the 30 seconds Jenna is on to read the news.<BR/><BR/>The other comment says the the quote comes from someone who is the exception rather than the rule. But people rarely say anything about things they like. But you'll hear no end to people who have a complaint.<BR/><BR/>When was the last time you wrote a note to a company because they have a great product or you got great service and you wanted to thank them? Likely never. Now tell me the last time you sent a note or posted something to a blog or website because it ticked you off? Just because you get people talking doesn't mean its a good thing. From browsing this blog and many other websites, it's clear that the poster who likes Jenna is more of the exception rather than the rule. I agree that she interjects herself into the story way too many times. <BR/><BR/>And sure, she shouldn't have passed up this opportunity. Why should she? She's not responsible for her being there-it's the people above her who are responsible. The people who make the decisions about who will be on-air and in what roles are the responsible ones.<BR/><BR/>On a side note, I would like to say that I appreciate your (the blooger's) ability to accept and acknowlege someone else's opinion especially if it differs from yours.
