My posts about Jenna Wolfe are the most active on my blog right now. While all the talk is about the position of anchor for only the Sunday edition of 'Today', the opinions are strong (and a bit ugly sometimes). I thought I would pull a series of the quotes FROM PEOPLE LIKE YOU. I have NOT edited any of the comments (So like many of us who think faster than we type, you may notice some typos... but I don't think user comments should ever be changed in any way). READ THESE... AND THEN POST YOUR OWN COMMENTS BELOW.

Here are YOUR comments. Anonymous said.. Jenna Wolfe is an idiot. Self-centered show-off. What can NBC be thinking? They are cornering the market on obnoxious women broadcasters--first Meredith Vieira, now Wolfe. The Today Show needs anchors and newsreaders with dignity, not Dennis Miller wannabes.
Anonymous said... It's been stunning to watch the dumbing-down of "Today" over the past decade. While the show was never "Meet the Press," there was always a delicate balance between the hard news and the softer features. When the show was at its best -- the Bryant Gumbel-Jane Pauley and Gumbel-Katie Couric years -- that balance was there. In the later years of the Couric-Matt Lauer partnership, entertainment started to take over, and it's all but vanquished the news side. If you miss the first ten minutes of the show, you've missed the news. And even worse, the quality of the talent has declined precipitously in the past 25 years. Gumbel was arguably the best show anchor since Dave Garroway, occasional prickly behavior aside. Pauley was poised, professional, and down-to-earth. Couric, at her best, was the saucy girl next door. Matt Lauer is very good but doesn't command the show in the style of his predecessors, and Vieira still has the air of a newcomer over a year after her arrival on the "Today" set. Lester Holt is a total pro and was terrific to watch when he was hosting with Campbell Brown, who should have gotten Katie Couric's job. But now Weekend "Today" is adrift, and the ratings prove it.
Anonymous said... Are you sure? Amy has been doing Saturdays and Jenna doing Sundays -each with their name streaming as the co-host for that respective day in the opening bit. I am hoping the execs at NBC can give Lester the opportunity to bring Weekend today back. So disappointed that they let Campbell Brown get away. I can't even watch Jenna. She tries too hard to be funny and is often taking herself off topic (ooh I tripped, which leads to some obscure story) and then rushing the content of the segment. She doesn't come off as spontaneous and fun - but the LOUD one in the room that won't SHUT UP.
Anonymous said... I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one who can't stand Jenna! She's so loud and always gives me the feeling that she thinks she's the star of the show. Poor Lester! My boyfriend, who is a Campbell Brown fan, is ready to boycott Weekend Today. I have to say, I'm with him.
Anonymous said... This anchor situation is ridiculous. Where did Jenna come from? She was doing sports on the local NY station, now she is in this complicated news anchor situation. It was bad enough when Campbell left. Why is NBC doing this? Lester appears so uncomfortable. Doesn’t NBC have enough talented anchors to replace both and stop this bad TV?
Anonymous said... Watching Jenna Wolfe is like watching a self-centered squeaky toy. I turned her off this morning and cleaned the kitty litter box. Big improvement. And while, I'm at it, will some one teach Meredith Vierra to read from a teleprompter, or just lower the damn.
Deanna said... Finally! I am not the only one who finds Jenna Wolfe to be the most annoying, loud, rude, obnoxious, cold anchor in NBC Today show history! I adore Amy Robach who is a warm, friendly, well-spoken, fun news anchor. She is a joy to watch on weekend mornings. NBC please keep Amy on both Saturday and Sunday's from now on. Please remove Jenna from the show completely... even her reading the morning news headlines is too much to take
Anonymous said... Get rid of Jenna Wolf! Lester is terrific. How about partnering him with Paula Zahn. I'm finished with Weekend Today on Sundays -- what a shame.
HatingJenna said... I completely and whole-heartedly agree! I can't stand Jenna Wolfe and I'm ready to stop watching completely. I feel bad for Lester. Don't you think he has any say in who co-hosts with him? My favorite Jenna moment was when the Today Show was collecting for charity and a well-intended sponsor showed up with lots of product to donate. She started grabbing the products saying, "Oh this is mine!!". Selfish, greedy, and NOT funny. I tried to email my complaint to WT@nbc.com (using the link on their website). Big surprise ... the email bounced. No way to register a complaint! They don't want to know!!! BOYCOTT THE SHOW until Jenna Goes!
Anonymous said... Jenna Wolf's audience is probably comprised of all mothers who raised an ugly daughter who tried to compensate by being obnoxious.A few weeks ago she reported on a tornado and said "I never knew theymoved so fast"! Lester is probably under compensated for all he does. The network should give him combat pay for working with her.
Bella said... I'm watching the weekend today show and I noticed Jenna is not anchoring with Lester. I didn't hear Amy Robach say "sitting in today for.." so I thought, "did Jenna get fired?" I then see her report news, and her tone seemed very firm returning it back to Lester and the crew. Low and behold I find out she is no longer co host with Lester and I'm pleased. I thought it was just me that was annoyed by her yelling and being so loud, it drove me crazy and I would turn to another show. I see lots of potential in her and I'm sure she will anchor again. Good for Jenna for taking the opportunity. Anyone that does that can only grow and learn and become better for it.
DaisySalter said... I'm so glad I'm not the only one totally disgusted with the obnoxious Jenna Wolfe. She just insulted Carson Daly by telling him not to "mess up" the New Year's Eve celebration at Times Square. He looked shocked, but recovered and said, dryly, "Thanks. I won't." On the o ther hand, I love Lester, and unlike some other posters, I like Meredith V very much.
Rex said... I have never posted before, but this morning I finally felt strong enough to write about how much I dislike Jenna Wolfe. I love Amy Robach and watching on Sunday is painful. I love Lester Holt and am a true Today fan. They need to get rid of Jenna and let Amy have the weekend job. I feel like they are both "auditioning" for the permanent spot, but i like that Jenna has to sit at the news desk and watch Amy anchor and never vice versa!
Anonymous said... We are distressed at the increasing and continued presence of Jenna Wolfe on Weekend Today. She is obnoxious and completely ego-centric. NBC should give the full Weekend Today co-host job to Amy Robach who is bright, charming and mature. Lester Holt and Amy Robach are a fantastic team.
Anonymous said... I came across this blog this morning after Googling "Jenna Wolfe", whom I was watching incredulously for the first time on Weekend Today. It's hard to believe that the NBC execs couldn't find someone less grating and more sympathetic than this for the co-anchor spot. Unlike some of the other posters to this discussion, I was never a big fan of Campbell (those shoes are just adorable!) Brown - I thought she brought too much fluff to the show. The show has been in decline since Soledad O'Brien left in 2002 B.C. (Before Campbell). If NBC can't come up with better anchors from within their organization, they ought to poach some credible reporters or anchors from ABC such as Sonya Crawford or Taina Hernandez, or any other number of talented reporters, for such a prominent position. Puhleeze.
Anonymous said... I thought there was weekly magic between Lester and Campbell and they would never find anyone who would please me again. I reluctantly felt that I was right after watching Amy Robach on Saturdays. Then I discovered that Jenna Wolfe did Sundays, and I am once again happy. I love her quirky ways. And as a 45 year old, I would think that she would appeal to alot of people my age and younger. She is fresh and I'm hoping that Lester starts to "get" her so that he can find the humor in the comments about stocking stuffers. When she gave him the stocking of paper clips, he did seem to think that it was funny. I really hope she works out.
27 Years on Broadwat said... Today Dec.30th I am finally sick of weekend today. The show is so stunted with Jenna. Please just use Amy Robach as a co-anchor, Jenna is like nails on a chalk board and anyone watching both shows can see the Saturday team works and the Sunday team is horrible....im on CBS Sundays till this mess is solved
Anonymous said... Once you notice how many times Jenna Wolfe says "I" or "Me", it starts getting really weird.
Anonymous said... She is terrible! I don't even tune in on Sunday mornings anymore because I do not want to watch another painful episode with her.I want to see Amy Robach back in the seat on Sundays!
Anonymous said... Boy oh boy is she annoying! Lester is a natural, and Amy is wonderful. Jenna Wolfe???? She's a bit of a Katie C. look alike...are they trying to make her fit? She interupts and never stops talking!Who is she dating? He must have some influence. Get rid of her!
juandicuad said... Ordinarily I have a quiet remote but when I tune in to see Lester and she's either sitting next to him or over in the news desk my remote screams like a banshee in a mad rush to get the hell outta there. Talk about self absorbed for no apparent reason and count the number of times she interrupts to say absolutely nothing germaine.
27 years on Broadway said... She is so annoying, I like Lester Holt but this girl Jenna has to go ...the woman on saturday should just be the weekend anchor

"Here are some comments from the last post about Jenna Wolfe, Amy Robach and 'Today'.
I really enjoyed the Sunday show today. It is those unpredictable comments that make it fun. Great show Saturday, great show today."
"If you enjoy Lester Holt squirming with confusion and confoundment as to what his role is when his co-host keeps trying to dominate the show, then the show was about as enjoyable as it can get."
"Sundays are just uncomfortable. It is like inviting over the crazy uncle for the Holiday's and being continuosly nervous about what might come out of his mouth. That is the same feeling I get with Jenna Wolfe."
"Jenna's voice is not soothing. She did a piece on a taser party and refrained from her most annoying humor. Howver, her piece on the "what I learned from women who dumped me" was dull. Also, she kept interrupting the guests with stupid mumblings. She soaked up ann curry advertising jenna's dating status."

Interesting comments above...Change is never easy and certainly not for all the above. She brings a personality that may at times be a little over the top however she has already enlightened me to a couple new things since joining the show, namely the pizza tour and guitar bar. Most of you sitting on blogs making these comments would die for half the energy she brings to life, as she gains experience she will find a happy median between being fun and personable while not being over the top...
Great points! Agreed!
It is fine to have her gain experience, but not at an anchor position. Anchors should be established, not works in progress. I would have no problem with her bringing her energy to a feature report each week, but her "energy" as an anchor looks like an attempt to override Lester Holt instead of working together with him. He just looks so uncomfortable sometimes, I feel bad for him.
Jenna is in way over her head and the real loser in all this is the true pro here; Lester Holt. He just seems at a loss with Jenna. It is almost as if he is waiting for the next uncomfortable moment to arise. Amy has grown considerably over the last 6 months and I think in early 2008 she will be given the permanent slot. NBC execs are not idiots, they do realize that Jenna is not quite right for this job.
Oh yeah, has anyone noticed the hacking of the poll on this subject? Amy will get a big lead and then all of a sudden in one day Jenna will get a 100 votes? Pretty obvious and pretty petty.
So one particular comment indicates that the individual should be ready from day one yet another comment highlights the growth Amy has experienced in the last 6 months? Interesting. Anyway, should an anchor be expected to fit a certain mold and just serve as a sidekick that is required to keep Lester comfortable? I guess, I prefer personality, and not just one, but rather a good mix that bring different perspectives. If this anchor role is meant to serve as Lesters shadow then maybe Jenna isn't the right person as she has proven in a short period of time she is her own person and quite frankly I would never discourage that behavior.
You can be ready and still grow in the role. Matt Lauer is a good example. He was ready from the start, but he has really grown into the role over the years.
Lester's co-anchor doesn't have to shadow him, but Jenna often seems to try and steal the moment from him. Maybe she's trying too hard, but making the established (and permanent) co-host visibly uncomfortable on camera is not the way to establish a good mix.
There's certainly a place for Jenna's personality, but it shouldn't come at the expense of Lester, who seems to command universal respect.
Researched ratings on the Weekend Today Show on some of the blog sites. This is what I found.......
They have been rough on Jenna Wolfe.
She had her debut in November.
For the month of November, Saturday Today 38% over Saturday GMA.-126% over CBS Early Saturday.
25-54 A demo passed Sat GMA and CBS Early
Sunday Today-For November 29% more viewers than Sunday GMA.
25-54 A demo Today posted a 1.1 clearly beating Sunday GMA's 0.9
As rough as the postings have been, from the Nov sweeps they should try and have her in the mix with Amy.
As a benchmark:
Campbell announced on 7/22, so lets use 6/23 one month before
Sat Today 3.7 to Sat GMA 2.3
Sat Today 2.8 Rating to Sat GMA 1.7
Sunday Today delivered 3.2 Million viewers to Sun GMA 2 million
Sunday Today posted 1.1 to Sunday GMA 0.6
Just found it interesting to look at the numbers rather than the opinions. Not sure but from the postings it seems Wolfe did 2 or 3 partials and 1 complete weekend in November, and 5 partials in December. In your opinion if the ratings held after Brown, dont you feel a permanent replacement would have been announced. I disagree with the assesment of the validity of summer ratings, as they are equally affected across the board. Percentages dont change, total numbers might. I just wanted to use one of Campbell's weeks as the benchmark.
I am not sure that I would agree with some of the bloggers regarding changing viewing habits. They are going to be in the minority.
Thanks for the numbers. Its always good to add those to all of the opinions. I think we work every day all year for a total ratings picture. Summer is summer.. but its not really different than last summer. The best comparisons are year to year and never month to month. Good info.
THANKS AS WELL TO EVERYONE FOR THE ONGOING FEEDBACK. IT'S GREAT TO HAVE OPEN DISCUSSIONS... WITH STRONG OPINIONS.
Campbell Brown was arrogant and rude, and now they replaced her with Jenna Wolfe, who is arrogant and rude. NBC is falling apart, so not shocked that they keep making these kind of dumb mistakes. Feel sorry for Al, Matt and Lester. Thanks for the blog. I was hoping there were others out there that are sad to see the downfall of what used to be "must see tv". Oh yeah, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!!
Those numbers aren't accurate though. I remember this being posted on the MSNBCTV board. The numbers being used to "support" Jenna are from the November sweeps period, a time when the networks usually get some of their highest ratings and number of viewers regardless of who is anchoring. During the summer (the July numbers that were used with Campbell Brown) the number of viewers drops significantly. It always does. Try comparing summer numbers to fall/winter numbers and you will see a dramatic difference. In some cases close to a million viewer differcence. So yeah you can spin numbers anyway you would like but they don't always tell the full story. Also, Amy Robach anchored during that time as well so it's not like only Jenna contributed to the ratings if you can really say there was a contribution.
I should add that I would like to see a comparison of the numbers from this November to those from last Novemeber. Or better yet, why not compare several months before Campbell left and after Campbell left over the same months. Just from quickly glancing it would appear that the numbers are down. Weekend Today used to average about 4 million viewers from what i can recall.
Network decisions are based on ratings. If the ratings were the same or better Post Campbell I think Amy would have been named permanently to the position. If December ratings are the same as November, and both were supported by the Robach/Wolfe split, why not continue with what is working.
Is it just me or do others see it that Candy Crowley is a "Hillary Girl"I think she needs to be replaced on the campaign coverage with someone more objective.
Jenna drives me crazy for all of the same reasons that have already been posted on this blog. The weekend Today show was the only tolerable remaining format for a show that was once the apple of my morning eye. Unfortunately Ms. Wolfe's presence is causing me to abandon ship. It is my hope that the suits at NBC will smarten up and give Lester the decent co-anchor that he deserves.
You've all gotta be kidding me. I love Jenna Wolfe, I hope she's the permanent co host of weekend today. And she's single!!! who wants to watch a bunch of married anchors? She's cute, smart, and an unbleievable talent.
cute???
a very large mouth and loud
Officious, Obnoxious, Narcissistic. Can't stand her. I've been questioning ever since she came on how Jenna got this job. There are young bright attactive co-hosts in small stations accross the country- how on earth did the Today Show end up with Jenna? She must be well connected. Every time I see her I cringe for the interviewee's sake, for Lester's sake, for the Today Show's sake, and yes- even for hers, she IS young, and foolish, and someday may realize that making everything all about her was the off-ramp to her career.
I finally had to google to see if I was the only one who felt sickened by trying to watch the Today Show with Jenna. I think Lester is the most pleasant, intelligent anchor on tv. Why in hell is Jenna Wolfe being made a co-anchor when she apparently rubs Mr Holt the wrong way, as well as the audience. Please replace her with Amy, the sooner the better. Down with unprofessional loud mouthed Jenna.
Enough! Jenna Wolfe has to go.She is loud and obnoxious.Just give the job full time to Amy Robach.Besides being HOT,she is more professional. While they are at,get rid of Merdith also. The only person more in love with selves then these two is Kathy Lee!
She is the worst person on a network news show. She has to go.Amy Robach is a 1000 times better and HOTTER!
Lester Holt is a real gentlman... how does he remain so composed when he has to co-host with Jenna Wolfe? She is constantly trying to steal the spotlight away from him and back onto herself... it is embarrasing to see. I don't watch the show on Sunday anymore because I don't want to be annoyed by her unprofessional behavior. I haven't read one nice comment about her yet. Why do you keep her on? You are losing viewers!
Jenna MUST be related to an NBC exec ... how else could she be considered, much less be assigned, to co-anchor Today's weekend gig. The bloggers have it right - Jenna is so wrong for this position. She's bumbling, immature, and irritating, She leaves the viewers cold. I DON'T watch the show anymore when she's on - I simply turn the channel. Least I can usually catch Lester anchoring the weekend evening news - he's a good guy.
Jenna has to go, bring Cambell Brown back. She and Lester were great!
I don't get it... what's so bad about Jenna Wolfe??? We need more humor in our news today. She knows when to be serious and when it's appropriate to use humor. What a bunch of party pooper complainers! Jenna does a great job, and so does everyone else. If everyone were alike, the show would be inevitably boring.
Jenna Wolfe is horrible. She has to go. The sooner the better. I cant wait to see her in China. We dont need to send a team, just Jenna! It is all about her,all the time.
Jenna is so annoying! It's hard to enjoy the Olympics whe she's just having a great time enjoying herself on TV!!! She's just awful.
Lester needs to go back over sea's somewhere, remote!! Amy needs to be Lesters mic holder. Just because men don't understand the news they need to find a "cute" (not even the case-opps glasses please!!) little blonde.
Jenna is what the news needs and only reason most of us watch NBC on the weekend. Save us Jenna from the idiots!! I'll buy the tickets to get rid of Lester and Amy.
Thank you for letting me I dont understand the news. Thank God for Jenna Wolfe. What are us men to do with out an obnoxious, rude, arrogant, self centered person to explain the news to us. Give me a break. She is horrible. This is what network has become. Wake up NBC. And who ever wrote the previous blog!
I was born a month after the Today Show was launched in 1952. I have never stopped watching and have been a devoted fan. This morning I was embarrassed that the NBC producers ran the piece on "How TO Make The Best Cup Of Coffee." This could have been a wonderful piece if they chose a coffee drinker to cover it. Instead they selected Jenna whom announced to the world that she does not drink coffee no less than five times. She was supercilious, sophomoric, uneducated and not of the NBC caliber. This segment was about coffee. She made it into a statement about herself. I think NBC has made the decision to find a girl that the Ellen audience can relate to. This is a sad statement. At 56 I am still young, a productive member of society and no longer a weekend Today view as long as they allow this egocentric (insecure?) girl to waste my time.
To the blogger who was born after the Today Show was launched......
These past weeks have been filled with depressing news. Financial turmoil on wall street-Banks closing-Stock market crashing down, and you are against a story that could brighten up the morning, at least temporarily. Come on, you have to lighten up, I thought it was great, light and funny and sure helped end a most serious of news days.
I have to agree. I keep hoping every Sunday that she won't be there. And then, every once in awhile, she does a special report on the weekday Today Show. She is obnoxious and I have been a loyal viewer of the Today Show for over 20 years. Lester is awesome, but it being lost in the Jenna Wolfe Sunday shows. She needs to go.
I was apalled this morning after seeing Jenna's Wolf's interview with accident victum Christopher Pfifer, the amputee who lived 42 hours at the bottom of the canyon. She couldn't let him finish a sentence. she even answered her own qustion to him because she thought he was going too slow. I never liked her but this was the final straw and i had to comment. It's seems like its all about her and her agenda. She is totally un enjoyable to watch and even less to listen. It's to bad Lester has to deal with her totally opposite personality. Please replace her before you lose even more viewers.
She is so not ugly!! She's really quite gorgeous. She's like the girl next door who was once a tomboy, but suddenly WOW, how nice she turned out and you so wished she was your girlfriend now. I really like her cute looks and her sense of humor. She'd probably do better as an entertainment reporter or on a show like Talk Soup than doing hardcore news, but she's getting there. I saw the interview with the amputee and I could tell they must have told her to hurry and it put her in an awkward position but the interview prior to the rush was pleasant. Lighten up people! Geez!
I, too, am weary of Jenna Wolfe. I am a huge Today show fan for many years now, but Jenna doesn't fit in somehow. And that Barry Manilow thing! I am glad she is a fan of his, but that feature was too much. Was sad to see Katie go, but Meredith is great. I agree with the others here in that Lester Holt is the best. He deserves someone better matched than Jenna (maybe Amy? she really is good). With Tina Fey's huge success in recent months, maybe consider bringing her in? Or Amy Poehler? Yes, they lost a top-notch journalist when they lost Campbell Brown. CNN was smart to snag her.
WOW! I'm not the only one! I just found this site. Jenna is loud, annoying, her voice is grating.
Where did she come from that allowed her to be on my TV?
Does she have pictures of important people in compromising situations?
Times are tough so please don’t fire Jenna but maybe she could do some production work.
She makes me cringe when I’m trying to wake up and enjoy my morning.
“I’m just saying……………………….”
Jenna is not only obnoxious, but as a male I find her hard on the eyes. I don't know how she keeps her job. She must either have something on an NBC exec or is the company bicycle.
Where in the hell did she come from??? What sports station?? Who at NBC thought she would be a good choice for Today??? After Campbell Brown left (why NBC didn't keep her I'll never know) I thought that Amy Rohrbach would do both days with Lester. I was happy with that prospect---but oh no--then came "the big mouth" I first thought she was just a sub until Amy got a babysitter for her 2 kidlets but then it dawned on me that Jenna was going to be the Sunday person!!!! Amy--I'll help you pay for a nanny on Sunday mornings----unless NBC never offered Amy both days and if that's the case I'll never watch again. I hope the Sunday morning ratings drop off alerts NBC that "big mouth" is not a fit.
She is loud, crass, abrasive, always trying to make a joke even when it is the wrong time. I felt bad for Peter Alexander this a.m.---he just sort of stared at her---and it made me mad to think of her as the "veteran" of the two--I'm sure she let Peter know this at every turn. She behaved like an ass as usual--even Giada DeLaurentis didn't quite know what to make of her in the cooking segment--I know Jenna screwed up the cap of the blender just for a laugh--it and she fell flat on her face as usual.
Please get rid of her ASAP or NBC will have one less viewer.
Jenna's also a great big dyke and a homewrecker.
she has nice legs
I googled this am to find out who, in a high place, Jenna Wolfe might be related to and found nothing. I thought that that must be the reason why she is an anchor on the Today Show, Weekend Edition. It is stunning that NBC would pro-actively select someone with her egocentric personality, abrasive humor and irritating voice to share the anchor with ingratiating Lester Holt on Sunday mornings.
I've given up on Today, Weekend Edition on Sundays due to Jenna. I can't stand her style. She isn't funny, and no matter her guest, her focus always returns to Jenna.
Please, please, please, dear God, please get her off the show. I guess it's time to switch to something else on Sunday morning.
How NBC chose Jenna Wolf is beyond me. Abrasive, forced and not a bit apealing. Is she related to one of the NBC execs? It's the only reason I can see that she landed this huge natinal plum! Did they never look at the hundreds of female news persons at any of their own NBC affiliate stations...any one of which would JUMP at the opportunity to move up to the network show! Or even if they had chosen someone randomly off the street.
Jenna wolf is totally annoying and is obviously in love with herself. She's terrible. She must have been hired by the same guy that hired Kathy Lee. Are you kidding me? My channel gets turned as soon as either one of them is on screen. More annoying than nails on a chalkboard.
Jenna, she is not a class act that's for sure. She looked so trashy this morning I switched to ABC.
The number of times that Jenna Wolfe says "I.." during each show used to be annoying, but now it's like she is a Saturday Night Live skit character.
I just tuned into Saturday Today to see Amy and Lester and their she is...Jenna. I'm forced to change the channel since she is unwatchable. Don't understand NBC keeping her. She is awful
Jenna is AWFUL!!! If she is co-hosting with Lester I turn the channel. I think Today should do an ambush make over on Jenna Wolf. Her clothing choices are atroucious!
Good ol' Jenna strikes again-This morning she was talking to a Dr Janet Taylor on ADD and at the end when saying goodbye to her she refered to her as Dr. Genetalia-not the sharpest tool in the shed!.
I heard the "Dr. Genitalia" blooper this morning and thought my ears were playing tricks on me until I saw the shocked faces and attempts to stifle giggles. So unprofessional, but probably the funniest Jenna has been to date. Hope it's on YouTube soon.
I find her attractive. I tune in to watch her, not necessarilly to listen to her. I suspect that her job is very challenging, and having to deal with all of the egos makes it stressful.
I find it necessary to express how very disappointed I am in the Today's show choice with Jenna Wolfe. The arrogance, pompous and elevated attitude she holds of herself is rather evident everytime she is on the air. I find her insulting to the veteran anchors and her so-called humorous stabs at guests are uncalled for and inappropriate. I choose another network if she happens to be on the day I can watch television. Please seriously think about the negative comments posted here. So many viewers cannot be wrong. Thank you.
Jenna is no more obnoxious than any other female anchors, certainly no more than Kathy Lee/Hoda or those women on The View. She gets men to tune in - which is huge, since daytime shows mostly cater to women.
"I just tuned into Saturday Today to see Amy and Lester and their she is...Jenna. I'm forced to change the channel since she is unwatchable. Don't understand NBC keeping her. She is awful."
I'm sure the network is very concerned about the opinions of viewers that cannot tell the difference between "their" and "there".
Hello people get a clue, Jenna is a lesbian. Can't you tell by her boyish figure and looks, all of the male oriented stories the show gives her to report on? She never reports on any serious issues. It cracks me up whenever I read the comments that clueless guys write about Jenna's legs and and how they want to go out with her. Not going to happen. Research her and you will see that she was a sports caster. If it walks like a duck, acts like a duck, guess what?? It's a lesbian. There is nothing whatsoever in being a lesbian but she just needs to come out of the closet.
I just change the channel whenever she is on anymore. She is terrible.
What was Jeff Zucker thinking?
Is she really a lesbian? My heart is totally breaking....
I cannot stand Jenna Wolfe. She is rude, curt, annoying...at best.
I should thank NBC for getting me to watch less TV on weekend mornings. Normally I enjoy staying in bed, drinking coffee and watching the TODAY show, but now on Sundays I skip watching NBC. So thank you Jenna, I am no longer addicted to the TODAY show.
It's funny how the TODAY show tries to dress Jenna Wolfe up to look like a girl. They obviously try to hide as much as possible the fact that she is gay. I saw her just a few weeks ago with her girlfriend having dinner at a restaurant on the upper east side and they were all over each other.
Jenna goes to my gym and her friends are lesbians so I would have to agree based on how she acts, where she hangs and her friends, I would say she is a lesbian.
I dated Jenna and I am most definitely a woman.
UGLY, mean looking, talks out of the side of her mouth.
I switched to Charles Osgood/ CBS this morning. Jenna looked bad as usual and wore a fashion train wreck blouse.
She's beautiful! So what if she is gay? I hope she become the weekday announcer. You all are simply afraid of tough women. Let the married people go elswhere and let the people married to their careers do the better job. Come out and show us your galpal Jenna! UGoGirl!
Who watches Charles Osgood??? What, are you 80? And for those who think "Today" has become too entertaining, that is what is so great about the show. There are good news stories mixed with light-hearted humor. Who wants to wake up to hard hitting journalism in the morning? Those of you with a stick up your ass?
